A fine cloisonné enamel kōro (incense burner) with three feet, the body of soft pale blue colour, lobed in the form of sixteen petals chrysanthemum flowerhead depicting butterflies in polychrome enamel with full use of gold and silver wires of different thickness. The cover representing the core of flower with yellow pollen grains in silver wire on a graduating green ground, with a butterfly beside a silver openwork leaf outlined in double wire. The small dark blue-green feet forming the shape of leaves with veins in silver wire. Applied with silver liners and rims. With a wood stand carved with chrysanthemum leaves. With tomobako inscribed cloisonné enamel incense burner in the form of chrysanthemum.
