Inlaid silver and shibuichi box with night herons in rice field

An inlaid silver box and cover with a shibuichi panel finely decorated in gold, silver, shibuichi, shakudō and copper takaniku-iroe-zōgan with a pair of goisagi (black-crowned night herons) standing behind ears of rice, the details chiselled in katakiri-bori.
Signed on the panel Isshū (Kazuhide) 一秀 with flat gold inlay seal Sa 佐 of Satō, the base with stamped marks of Hattori sei 服部製 (made by Hattori) and jungin 純銀 (pure silver)
