A reddish-brown bronze vase with high content of pure copper, skilfully decorated in katakiri-bori with ducks resting by the bank and robins on a branch, the lighter colour of bird’s body produced with other metallic elements for effect. With a wood stand and tomobako inscribed Copper flower vase with the design of birds in the four seasons with red seal Kagawa Katsuhiro of Imperial Court Artist
Signed on the side Tōtai nite Kagawa Katskuhiro koku (carved by Kagawa Katsuhiro at the ridge of Kantō)
